Effective date for this proposal is August 6, 2007. There was not an economic impact statement done concerning this rule proposal. It does seem that if ten people request an oral proceeding, it would be held if received by June 26, 2007. An attorney can request this proceeding with names, addresses and telephone numbers of the requesting parties.

Its my understanding that retreivers have now become exempt from the new regs, because of everyone work and effort. More when I have it, but thats my understanding of it. travis

Talked to Repr. Warner McBride, retrievers will be taken out of the bill next month. The purpose of the bill was in no way intended to target or include retrievers.
