Think I'm gonna name my next one CAT  That would be weird huh! That's one reason and the other is I work for CATerpillar. Maybe I could get a corporate sponsorship :?: Maybe cover some training equipment, travel, and entry fees? I thought it was a great idea.....they probably won't though.

Some one else probably has a better name but just in case you haven't thought of this one try "Drake" you will be the 1,969,252,983,256,241 person to have a dog with that name.

No offense to the name (actually is my son's middle name) but everyone keeps naming their dog that. I can only imagine hunting on a management area with a dog named drake, there's no telling how many dogs would come running to you if you yelled that name.

Good luck with the name, I was serious about the Cat though.

well, I commend you for your putting so much time in naming your dog..... I think it is one of the most important things you will ever do for your dog. Its important to give the dog a name that MEANS something to you. Maybe a place you remember as a child ....or think of what kind of characteristics you want and then try to come up with a name that fits that...... Be careful in naming it too powerful or too laxadasical......I would avoid any name in Frontiers list that ends in y ......slappy, dopey, crappy ..... bad choice. I would avoid firecraker, lightening.....any over powering name can backfire in a dog that won't go at all. Sometimes the names can backfire into the exact opposite than you want....... your yelling "lightening" and the dog is walking at a snails pace.....you get the idea....... the name should have some "character" ..... if you want a goofy dog give it a goofy name.... if you want a smart dog give it a smart name.......again einstien is a little much and can backfire ......
