Mine have a big glob of sealant on the top of the right boot - at least I won't get wet in 1 inch of water.

Update on mine.
They look brand new. They still have the rubber dimples on the boots like new tires.
I tested them just a minute a go and the leak bad in the crotch.
The seam on the inside is split pretty bad.
Test them before you use them.

Nice guy at Sierra, said just send them back for a full refund.

I honestly doubt it with them being 2nd's. Is there a warranty card in the box?

Got a 1200 gram old Mossy Oak pattern. Look to be slightly worn by the looks of the dirt on them and some mud in the cleats so I'm assuming they are a returned pair. Looks to be a lot of patches maybe on the inside everywhere they are stitched. Testing them out tomorrow at the Rez. Need to find a few of my discs I chunked in the water anyway. Not going to get my hopes up though.

Many waders now have extra patches on the inside to reinforce the seam seals, especially in the crotch area. I bought a pair last year that had three small patches on top of the seam seal in the crotch, and they were brand new.

That's some funny stuff there.

Candy wrappers in the pocket, shoe goo patches, mud on the boots, etc.......
