Hard shooting = lots of recoil??? I have a .308 and it has about as much recoil as the .243 I bought for my daughter this year.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I've shot a t3 lite in a 30 06, recoil wasn't anything to talk about because I don't remember it.

If you arent happy with 1.5 inch groups, try the 165grain ballistic tips. I can put 3 holes in the size of a half dollar at 100 yds with that load in my gun.

I had one in 270 WSM.. I didn't have any problem with recoil.. I like the rifle with the exception of the long barrell..

I really like the feel of them just have not had a chance to shoot one. From whhat I have found out on them is that the main differnce between them and the sako is that they do not use a more plain looking wood and the barrel is from the second run of the bore driller(after it is used on a Sako).

I only wish they had a 3-position safety like Ruger, Winchester, & Kimber. I love that feature.

I put my browning a bolt in the closet when i got my tikka 7mag. I can put a bullet in the same hole at 100-150yds. gotta have a good scope to make any rifle perform. Dont know about the recoil though mine is not really that bad and its a much higher caliber than 308. good luck
