Walk or ride

OK it seems that I have seen it before but I can't find it now so I want to know which on eyou prefer. Do most of you walk in from you stand, ride to your stand or ride almost to your stand (200-500 yards) on your atv?

I walk into mine. Most are at least 1/2 mile in or further. Just wondering!

I walk about 200 yrds when bow hunting

I will drive alot closer when gun hunting.

I got one stand that has a blind for the golfcart built up under the stand.

i drive to about 1500 yards away or so or jus depends where it is...........but i mainly walk i cant see my truck or atv when im sittin in the stand

i usually have choppers wife drop me off at my stand when he's out of town. She's good at keeping me warm and can make a hell of a white russian!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

No wonder you ain't killed anything, she's a terrible driver! She probably done got drunk and ran the golf cart through all kinds of stuff scaring off all the deer.

I walk...I have rode into my stand and did not see anything.Seems like when I walk I see more deer.

depends on the situation. I generally walk the whole way in and out.

I always try to walk as far as possible. Some say I don't need to walk as far as I do, but screw them. It can't hurt and it helps me not be such a fatass.

Walk as far as you possibly can. You'll be surprised at how many more deer you'll see by keeping the wheelers out of the woods.

it depends on where i hunt.... if im hunting where a mainly hunt then i will ride within 200 yards due to the fact that there are always tractors and trucks running on the farm and the deer seem to be use to it(sometimes during season i will get on a tractor and just ride and will see many deer that could care less that i am there).... but at another place i hunt every now and then there are no atvs or trucks allowed while deer hunting
A friend will bail you out of jail but a good friend will be sittin next to you saying damn that was fun.
