Is there anyone coming saturday that lives in the Magee/Mendenhall area? If so, we can probably get some from my brother, think he's opening his seafood shop again starting this weekend.

We are having to back out.... my mother has a flock of 34 turkey's feeding in her back yard every morning.... several longbeards. Jr. Broker said that he he would love to bust some clays and eat some good chow, but he would much rather shoot something that gobbles & struts....

and since it is youth weekend, looks like I will be working the box call while he shoots.... hope you gentlemen have a great time.

MSB,

I talked to several gobblers this past weekend and they said they were going on strike this coming up weekend. They plan to stay on the roost and not gobble....

Turkey season usually fires up in the 3rd weekend, come on down to starkville, those turkeys are going anywhere, unless your mom decides to stick a shotgun barrel out the window in hopes of having fried turkey that afternoon.... :D

GH22... the outing got my vote, but my kids veto'd me. Had a blast at the one last year, and really hate missing it.

word of warning.... stay away from Crow & shooting clays. he is like one of those pool hall sharks. 8) just keep your money in your pocket....

Someone (I think Gadwall2 and/or Dukhuntalot) is bringing another grill (besdides the one they're cooking the pig on).......just bring something to put ON it.

'Sorry you can't make it, 'Broker'......I was looking forward to meeting you. Maybe another time. Good luck with the turkeys......you'll be doing what a Dad SHOULD do......takin' your kid hunting.

I probably will not be there. I'm planning to take my nephew turkey hunting that morning.
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

Well, considering we will probably be hunting around Jackson, it may be hard to make it back. I'll try to do both, but not sure if I will make it back up here or not.
