Hunted yesterday most of the day, and the deer never moved where we were. Finally saw 2 right at dark coming out. Maybe this afternoon will be better.

I took one of my boys and my bro in law took the my other one, they saw four does but held off for a buck and we saw fifteen but the closest shot was at 160 yards and Austin felt uncomfortable at that distance

I took my youngest when I got off work this morning. Deer were already in the field when we got in the stand. My son did get his first shot at a doe but unfortunatly missed. Looks like he is following right in my footsteps. We saw a total of 8 deer with one of them being a real nice 8 point. We had a real good hunt and a great time together. Isn't that what it's all about anyhow?

took my 7 yr old for the first time. we have done alot of work the past month or two and he was fired up. unfortunately he broke his arm wednesday but was still wanting to go. cast on arm, he missed his first doe. we went back this afternoon and saw one spike and two very small doe's. i had the time of my life and i think he has the fever.

Well I took my girlfriends 12 yr old son this weekend. He killed his second deer with me last year so he was fired up. Not much action sat morning but that afternoon, amongst the coughing(he was pretty sick but not going to stay home), we had one come in. He had to watch that deer at 30 yrds for 15min before ever being able to get a shot. He was doin some shakin and I just knew we were gona get busted but when the deer decided it had enough to eat and turned to leave.........BOOOOOOMMMMM. Glad to get him on the board.

I know of 4 deer down this weekend from youths.. My 11 yo old nephew was not one of them.. But I was proud of him. Him and his dad hit the stand at 1:20 and stayed till dark.. Just no luck on a deer walking out ..

We saw 6 sat. am but it was so foggy that I was afraid one of them might have been a spike so no shot.
Sat pm saw 3 all spikes and 2,000,000 ladybugs,,
Sun am saw 2 to far...
I think we had 9 youths hunting and 3 does were killed along with 2 big hogs.. This warm weather is not helping matters..
