Scratched out 2 gad drakes this morning. Saw several hundred birds this morning working the hole but with zero motion in the dekes. I saw a ton of teal this morning. A neighboring club killed some bluewings and a pintail drake.

2 wood ducks, mallard drake, and a cross breed or immature bird that had the body coloration of a hen and the head of a mallard drake. This topwater did not know what it was. A guy I hunt with said it was a cross between a black duck and a mallard :?:

We had a bunch working but never could get within shooting range. We did end up with one drake but we worked a big groups of pintails, mallards and a few teal. I think we saw one wood duck. We also seen alot of mallards flying high and headed north. But we had a good one and gonna try it out again in the morning.

Are we admitting to party shooting?

The five of us managed 24 ducks this morning; mallards, gads, teal and widgeon. Could have probably squeezed out a full five man limit, but decided to head out and hit it again in the morning. Heck of a fun hunt.
We killed a immature Redhead this morning in a brake, the first for our group and location to my knowledge. Interesting....
