I'll wager you $1000 that there isn't near the OOS hunters in MS than OOS fishermen in Louisiana. You have my word in writing if there is more OOS hunting pressure in the delta than OOS fishing in Louisiana you sir have won $1000. (Assuming you take the bet and don't research it before letting me know I am wrong which I don't think I am)
To reiterate my stance on this, I have no problem with OOS hunters/fishermen. I think you all get your panties way too much in a wad over this issue every year.
with all this OOS talk.....
per the amount of land. yes i would say you are correct by there being more oosers in la fishing. i dont' care if people from out of state hunt in mississippi it helps boost economy. the thing that gets me is when they come here and come set up within a 100 yards of someone while hunting i think is down right disrespectful.

Damn Yankee I disagree about your post on Canadians putting more money and birds are whatever into the sky. The American piece of the PPR has consistently took up slack in duck production from the lack of production in Canada. Year after Year. You have to beg Canadians to do anything; for the most part they'd be happy just cutting it up and farmng it. If Canada produced HALF as many birds as they had potential to, the skies would be alot more plentiful with birds. I HIGHLY disagree that Canadians can claim jack chitt on duck numbers, they could be doing a whole lot better...if they actually gave a damn.

Non Residents hunting license are already priced in order to keep non residents out, most of the states that are good to hunt, are expensive to hutn as a non resident, I know especially because i may hunt 3 different states in three days! I am probably the worst OOS out there because i hunt alot of different states, mainly for waterfowl, and i do not plan on stopping,
This info comes from Bowsite, check out the data on Resident license, vs Non Residents

many states cost NR up to 35 Times more for a tag than a resident, How many hunters do you think this keeps away?
