Crowder warning!! Lock up your $#!+!!
Just a friendly warning to all you guys hunting the Crowder area. We were hunting a couple weeks back and had a little bit of a situation. Here we are, way out in the middle of a bean field when this little red pickup pulls down the main road realllll slow (which isn't necessarily out of the ordinary) and past our vehicles. Comes back by multiple times, finally stops at our vehicles and proceeds to help himself to a set of loading ramps. After seeing several of us basically running on water and um, well, wasting a few shells in his direction, he hauled ass and the ramps fell out of the back of his truck. He was a fairly young guy, dark hair, relatively thin, driving a small reddish truck (s10, ranger, etc...) Somebody PLEASE tell me you know who this is- there's a lot of things I CAN deal with but a thief is just not one of them. Would love to have a little quiet chat with the gentleman that so nicely tried to relieve us of our equipment. We got lucky to get our stuff back. You may not- LOCK IT UP!! Good luck the rest of the way in!!
Work is definitely a four letter word during duck season!!

My daddy told me a 40 years ago...in that part of Tallahatchie you could have the paint stolen off your vehicle!
(and that was during crop season....not even duck season!)

no writing on side that i'm aware of. Kinda blocked out by levee to our field. General color and size of truck is all we could make out. Told the police and were basically told to lock our stuff up- nothing they can do, which I understand, but I do wish they would do a LITTLE patroling just to try to cut down on a little of the road riding...

Crowder+red s-10+lanky build+ black hair. Did the truck have a cb antenna and/or a dog box in it?
Ain't but one fella that fits that description. He's got a pack of friends who like to steal stuff and, yes, dope is involved. I wrote him a ticket for shooting 17 squirrels one morning within earshot of my house. Heck of a nice guy to talk to and all, but he's got thug in his veins.

Wingman, did he have his shoes on when you caught him? He used to squirrel hunt barefooted so he could get closer. Suprised he didn't have more than squirrels in his possession
Ah, Crowder's finest. Just always remember that where ever you hunt around Crowder or anywhere else as far as that goes, the locals hunted it before you did and they may not take kindly to outsiders. And they will still hunt that property, but now it is only from the road

I know exactly of this man you are talking about.. His a** drives down the gravel road coming out of town that runs down the levee continuously. He also has some rabbit dogs that he proceeds to let out where ever he pleases. We have also told the police about this man as well as the GW.. Walk out on him once coming up to our trucks, luckily he had not yet made it to them..
PM ME to talk location and find out if this is indeed the same person.
