Corinth Ms.-super center- it is a good sauce but i wasn't that "carried away" as i was expecting. don't get me wrong, i liked it. with the hype i was expecting more.

Buddy of mine here in Starkville cooked some ribs and had it as dippin sauce. Just didn't think it was all that.

dipping sauce

Postby jdbuckshot » Thu Jan 24, 2008 10:14 am

Hoover sauce is not really a great sauce, but i think it makes a great marinade. Its consistency helps it stick to meat, therefore it absorbs better, i still like the taste of alegro better!

For ribs / chicken try this recipie:

hoover sauce
halopeno pepper juice (from the can)
black olive juice (from the Can)

rub with tony's

then marinade, then baste while cooking!

Mix it 50/50 with Italian dressing. Cut up your duck breast and soak overnight. Wrap'em up with bacon and a glob of cream cheese and a few slices of jalapeno in the middle and throw them on the grill.
Put the plate on top of your head and your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get to them!
Now I don't care for it on deer or steak myself.

To me it is best with pork loin as a sopping sauce. Of course I think the best boiled shrimp dip is 1000 island. To each his own I guess.
