I got robbed last night

Postby mshunter77 » Thu Jan 24, 2008 4:58 pm

Well I have heard people talking about it and never really thought too much about it until recently and then last night it happened to me. My truck was broken into along with several others. I live in a nice neighborhood, although that probably just makes you more of a target. THey also broke into a Gulfport PD car and his personal truck, A Major from the Sherrifs depastment wifes vehicle and at least one other truck. They got my digital camera, costa 580's and a old wallet with credit cards and my social security card. this really pisses me off. If these guys have enough balls to hit a police car they will eventually start coming into houses but I will be ready for them if they do that. Well be sure to keep your vehicles locked even thought that does not help much.

That's terrible. Our camp was robbed once and I have never felt so violated in my life.

I'm sorry you had to go through that rotten experience.

Just remember, it's just stuff. that helped me get over it.

I know how you feel. Couple of years ago, my dads house was broken into 10 minutes before I pulled into his driveway. Scary stuff but I will always be prepared.

Postby natemac2 » Thu Jan 24, 2008 7:08 pm

we have a camp down in claborine county and it is a huge target for theives. it has been broken into 5+ times. it is just no point in keeping the doors or windows locked so we just leave it unlocked b/c they will just break them. i know how you feel

Dang Joe! Hate to hear that man! I like Duck Nawteeks plan. I have absolutely no remorse on a thief. They will keep on stealing and keep on robbing when they have no fear of doing it. If they get their butt's shot at one time, I bet that would deter them.

I guess what really pisses me off is thinking about them just going through my stuff. You I wake up everyday and go to work so that I can buy what little bit of stuff I can afford to buy and them someone just comes along and takes it, it just really pisses me off. Yeah I keep a 12 guage by my bed and am about to purchase a 45 have been shoping around trying to decide what I want and waiting for income taxes but I guess I will go ahead and purchase it now.

I am not sure about that specific model, but I have had a Taurus 9mm for about 10 years now. It has been an abused gun. I do not think I have ever cleaned it. With nothing in the chamber, you can ease the trigger back and hear dirt and grit in the mechanism. It has never failed to shoot or chamber another round, and I shoot the cheap reloads with aluminum hulls. It is the best pistol I have ever owned, and you can't beat the price.
