PRAYERS FOR A FRIEND

I JUST WANTED TO GET ANY AND EVERYONE OF YOU TO TAKE A MOMENT FOR A FRIEND OF MINE WHO LOST HIS FATHER RECENTLY AND I JUST FOUND OUT...OUT OF RESPECT FOR THIS PERSON I WILL NOT INCLUDE NAMES BUT I BELIEVE IN PRAYER AND ITS POWER....MICAH YOU KNOW HIM WELL....LETS JUST ALL TAKE A MOMENT PLEASE AND REMEMBER HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS....I HAD THE PRIVELEDGE OF KNOWING HIS FATHER BECAUSE OF DUCK HUNTING AND YOU WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND A BETTER MAN!!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND LETS REMEMBER THIS FAMILY IN THEIR TIME OF NEED.

I think I know for whom you are speaking and if we are talking about the same person, you are correct.

It speaks well of a man when he asks for prayers not for himself but for his friends! They will deffinately be in my thoughts and prayers. Do they have any specific needs at this time?

This family is very close to my heart. I've known the son since high school, and I had the pleasure of getting to know his father and mother very well over the past couple of years. I can't say enough kind words about the lot of them.

I can't count the number of hours spent in their living room talking politics or the times that I got a phone call inviting me to stop by for dinner when I was commuting to Greenwood for work. I'll sure miss getting up to a pot of hot coffee and the good conversations that we always had at 5:00 in the morning before we headed to the field to hunt.

I'll miss the smile on his face and all the stories that he told, but most of all, I'll miss a man that reminds me alot of my own father, a man who was honest, hard-working, and dependable.

Please keep his family in your prayers. They'll need the Lord's help in the coming months.
