snot, i think the rut was on about the first of jan.. this buck didn't have a scratch on him. some of the locals said they are just now starting to rut? my dad who has been watching several nice bucks. he thought the rut was over 2-3weeks ago..

it would take a dumbazz from Caledonia thats hundreds of miles away from where this deer was shot to be the know it all on this deer?? :lol:
