What happened?

You're driving down the county road. You find a dead ruddy. He is in almost perfect condition; no shot holes, no blood, hardly a misplaced feather. All you can find is a little dried clay on him from the road.

What do you think happened? Take a look at the entire picture. I have my theory. What's yours?

Powerline...champcaller and I witnessed one nail a powerline at full speed one day....

2 theories

1. Flew right into that there powreline and ZAP fried duck meat

2. Committed Suicide because there are no other ducks in the state to associate with and decided he had nothing further to live for :(

I think powerline also. I've seen several ducks, especially ruddies, hit wires.

I don't think it fried him, because he'd have to touch two for that to happen, I think. I deduct that the impact killed him.

Powerline, no doubt. Hunting divers this year on some catfish ponds and watched a bluebill slam into a wire. He spiraled down like a head-shot dove. Dead as a hammer.

Did ya'll not see the bridgestone tire commercial during the super bowl? Obviously the driver didnt have a set of bridgestone tires on his vehicle. If you didnt see the commercial click on the link below and look at the one with the squirrel on it. Its in the first quarter. :wink:

You are all wrong, here is what really happened.

MSDuckmen was riding around once again just shooting birds just to kill something. He was unable to find any parrots to shoot so he shot this ruddy. After shooting it, being the hypocrite he is, he decided to just throw the animal into the road to let it rot. And that my friends is what really happened to this ruddy.
