I have changed my stance on him a little. I think there are still a lot of democrats who will not vote for a woman. So, they either don't vote or vote for mccain. I dont think the woman vote will matter. Obama is different. There are a lot of good ole boy democrats that will not vote for him, but I think the black people will turn out in masses to elect Obama. Mccain needs to change his stance on immigration and then maybe he can win. If he does not change, I think he has no shot. I think he can beat Hillary "Robem" but not "Insane" Obama.

I don't think McCain can beat Hillary. If Hillary wins, I think she gets the democrat vote and some of the republican female vote. I belive Obama will get the black vote, and some of the die hard democrat vote......., but many democarats would then vote for McCain

I read that Hillary and Oboma will not have the delegates ouright to win the nomination. It will left to the super delegates. If there is no winner the first go round, it could get very interesting at their convention this Summer. I think we may see the Democratic party implode and the GOP not have to do anything. The party may call both into a back room and cut a deal if it appears neither can beat McCain at that point.

Read an article that said a poison pill scenario would be to draft Gore into the race against McCain as he would be more electable.

Things are going to be real interesting between now and Labor Day. The conventions are usually a waste of time and boring. This Summer will be different.
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Benjamin Franklin.

Those who can do. Those who can't get on MSDUCKS and try to convince everyone they can.

According to a report on NPR (hardly a member of the "vast right-wing conspiracy") about 25% of Hillary supporters they surveyed would vote for McCain if Obama wins). They didn't quotes a percentage of Obama supporters, but they said they will likely not vote at all if he doesn't get in.).

Personally I hope for a hopelessly deadlocked floor fight that lasts until November; one where no supporter of the loser would ever under any circumtances vote for the other guy. But that's just me.

Would the Democrats team up and run a Clinton / Obama ticket? That would scare me a little......

Polls show that McCain has a better chance of beating Hillary.. But I am going to take a shot at this and say Obama gets the democrative nod and adds Hillary as VP. That would be pretty hard to beat for McCain and hard to stomach for me..

But as mentioned above it is going to get real interesting if Obama has more delagates and the Super Delagates go for Clinton.. Look out for big issues in the Dem party..
