Postby torch » Mon Mar 17, 2008 10:29 am

My guys up north are telling me we have another 15 foot rise coming. I hope not this will get a lot of property behind the levee.

only gonna fall 3/10's or so at helena over the next 5-6 days. I expect more water to be coming. They don't incorporate melt off or upcoming rains in there river forcast. You know it is the rainy season and time for melting to start.

15ft where. All the gauges. Surely not. I guess you are talking about Arkie City. The river is staying pretty swollen right now.

Keep on rollin' baby.

I'm assuming more water down the hill means the less will be let out of the lakes on the high ground.

Msdawg that should give a lot of places for the fish to spawn at Arkabutla  Kent Driscoll and 2 buddies caught 90 crappie at Arkabutla 2 years ago. They took the 30 biggest fish and weighed 87lbs. Thats Awesome.

No doubt about it. I know a guy who got on some fish a couple of days ago off of Hwy 51 standing on the bank. 36 fish weighed 56 pounds I'll take that any day.

Two days later you couldn't find a parking spot down there.

Maybe he was fishing with someone else, but remind him that the state limit is 30, Arkabutla limit is 20.

It is raining like crazy here in MO. We recieved close to 4 inches last night and expect another 2-3 today. Town just north of us is reporting they recieved over 7 inches last night and looking at another 2-4 today. So all this water is got to go somewhere.
