Memphis/Olive Branch Guys

Postby MSDawg870 » Mon Mar 24, 2008 12:39 pm

I'm in need of a job from about June until the end of the year?

If any of yal have friends or know of places that are hiring I'm interested.

I'm just trying to fill in the gap between college and the career.

Thanks in advance.

Whatever I can find for the time being.

I've driven tractors, unloaded trucks, worked retail, done machine shop work. Jack of all trades, master of none.

I'll be graduating with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries and state agencies only hire once a year.

If you're talking about Mississippi that's not necessarily true about them hiring once a year. Most if not all state agencies hire throughout the year. The state fiscal year is from July to June so July is when they would be hiring most of the time. This may not fit your specific situation but I thought I would just throw it out there.

You know someone with their own business? I've got LOTS, maybe too much experience on a zero turn mower.

I've thought about that route but I'm going to need something to take me into the fall/winter.

hey man dont know you real well but my neighbor is a manager at UPS Freight in memphis but last time i talked to him about jobs i think most that are open are at night. FedEx is ALWAYS hiring but you have to start on the night shift. Worth a shot if you need a job and both pay pretty good.

I know a company that will keep you busy through December...
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Fed Ex hub. All shifts, all the time. I see postings for hub jobs every day at work. I go back to work Thursday. PM me and I'll find out more details for you if you're interested.
