Im new to the area (Biloxi) and the forum just wondering if anyone has any suggestions bout good areas in the southern miss. region for some good duck bustin when it comes time

Welcome aboard.. Most folks won't jump on and here and give up to much information on hunting spots... But hand out for a while and you may get a chance to meet up with some of the folks.. And you learn more that way..

well this is all i can give you timber hunts are just woody shoots that last 30 mins, marsh hunts are rough if you have never done it the mud is nasty but the only thing worth hunting is in la or head up north

this is all great to know at least i wont have to call or drag decoys around to find skeeters i better go to the range though... hear they are tough to shoot. On a serious note though about how far north are we talking for a decent hunt and some species variety.

Your not totally dead stick down there, but, for the real deal you'll need to get north of Vicksberg

There are a few spots that produce some birds down here. The competition for them is FIERCE early in the season, no one cares late, 'cause the local birds are "harvested." You pretty much have to find them the hard way. Burn outboard motor gas. Most people drive to the south MS Delta, or over to LA if they want birds vs watching the sun come up.
