dinner for 4...
Re: dinner for 4...
I would have to say
1. Paul (of the Bible times) - He went through so much I would love to hear his stories.
2. Joshua (bible)- Hear what it was like to watch Moses one of the greatest leaders teach him hoew to lead
3. Mike Parsons- My Dad's Brother (my uncle)- He died of cancer when my dad was 16 he was 18. Never got to meet him and everyone said he was awesome.
Honerable Mention-
Ben Franklin- like to pick his brain
Thomas Jefferson- would want him to tell me about the revolution
Ty Cobb- always liked him
Nolan Ryan- Favorite pitcher
Nash Buckingham- Because of the stories he could tell
William Barclay- Great Theological mind
My Great Grandpa- He died when i was 3. He fished and hunted
everyday of his life they say.
My wife's Granpaws- both died when she was young. Never met them.

Thats easy for me to answer:
Jesus
My father: (he died when I was 18)
My grandfather: (he died when I was very young, right at the age of 4 and I can still remember him. Its hard to believe I can still remember him at that young of an age but the man had to have had a great impact on me when I was young.)

I think Jesus would def be the top of the list. But my other three would be
1. By grandad that was 7ft 1 that I never meet. He died when my mom was 3.
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. Babe Ruth
However said Nathan Bedford Forrest that would have been in my 3 but didnt want to be a copycat.

That would be ole' Tom Matthews, CEO of Avery. He's known for constant bragging of his duck calling ability, consistent repetition of phrases like "good shot.........good shot.........good shot", "that was awesome.....that was awesome..........that was just awesome", "nice shot man.........nice shot.........nice shot."
He's most widely known for straight up cussing a 12 or 13 yr old kid on the avery forums when he had a question about their decoys.

I remember seeing that thread. Pure hilarity. Pure stupidity. Who cusses out a customer on their own website?

Re: dinner for 4...
Well thats a tuff question.
My dad for one. Still got a few questions...
My Great Grandad on my moms side. Growing up and hearing the stories from my Great Grandmother, it would be an honor
My Grandfather(still alive) man means a lot too me.
Yeah there's several honorable mention but when it comes down to it, Family is what really counts.

Being a history buff I'd choose:
1: Lewis and Clark - can't have one without the other, I would love to hear all their stories on their journey over the Rockies and to the Pacific.
2: Ronald Reagan - The Great Orator, nuff said.
3: George Strait - The best at what he does, and, if he wants, to provide some background music.

Didn't know you were a George Strait fan. I used to live a couple of miles from him in San Antonio.. Would see him at the Spurs game.. Also my mom saw him all the time in Alice Tx.. He has a big ranch out there. You would be amazed at home much of a "regular joe" he is..
