Prayers needed for my camp and myself

Postby peewee » Mon Sep 08, 2003 7:12 am

Saturday we had a work weekend at the camp and a dove shoot in the evening. I left out with no doves and talked to a member of my camp. Sunday morning I get a phone call that he got killed in a 4 wheeler/Car accident up at the camp Saturday night. I was in shock, I am still in shock. Bill Hallberg was one of the nicest guys anyone could ever want to meet, he could get along with anyone.

The camp I am in is like a camp of brothers, with the exception of a handfull of members these guys all grew up hunting together since their teens. Some of them even played little league baseball together. It is kinda like a famly, and as matter of fact alot of them are family. Bill's cousin/best friend watch the car hit him, along with several others. Some of these guys were teenagers that saw it all up close and personal and there were even a couple of young girls (10 or below, on of the fellows daughters). Please pray for them, I cant imagine how it will impact these young minds. Also please pray for Bill's father, he just recently lost his wife to cancer, now Bill and I found out he has cancer too.

Well Peewee that really sucks,
You never know when it is your time and is never easy to see a fellow friend die an unexpected death.

I will keep your friends in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about that PeeWee. Man, we take the phrase "Be Careful!" so lightly, but it is something that we all need to think about. Especially when we are on or around "machinery".

Peewee, sorry to hear about your friend. I'll be sure to include him, his family and friends in a prayer.

I knew Bill personally . He was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. It was a tragic loss to your camp and to Vicksburg. He will be missed but never forgotten. Hears to you Bill.
