Re: CCP what do you carry?
You boys sho do like them keltecs. Tell me more about em. I have been looking at the 9mm.
Re: CCP what do you carry?
I have a Keltec 9mm P-11 model, it has a 9lb trigger but I don't mind it since its a double action only no trigger block safety gun. I can tear up a pie plate at 15ft with it. Oiling and lubing this gun is a must before starting to shoot it, a lot of folks skip this step and then believe the gun is defective while trying to break it in.
The Kahr 9mm will be my next handgun purchase, just wasn't in the budget at the time I got the Keltec.

At times there is not a satisfactory substitute for well-aimed lead going down range at high velocity.

It depends on where I will be and what the weather is like. I rotate between 3. My .40 Springfield XD. My .45 Glock 36. Or (most of the time) Kimber 1911 Pro Crimson Carry II.
Re: CCP what do you carry?
Okay this is probably a dumb questions. For those of you who have the permit and carry. Whan and where do you carry? I mean you can't have it on you everywhere you go cause some places you can't have one. please elaborate.

Re: CCP what do you carry?
I carry everywhere it is legal to plain and simple. In my opinion its borderline reckless to leave a pistol in your vehicle as every thug knows theres guns in trucks in Mississippi. Also if you are to be attacked more than likely it wont be while your driving down the highway. I carry for self preservation, not to be cool. I cannot carry a police officer on my hip 24/7 so I carry Mr. Gaston Glocks creation instead. I do not carry into hospitals, courthouses, police departments, federal buildings, schools, or bars. If a store is posted I probably will not shop there as any criminal empowerment zone is not where I want to be or patronize an establishment that wants to make me vulnerable. Some think it wont happen to me, I live in a nice neighborhood..etc etc blah blah blah your living in a fairytale land if you truly believe that. I refuse to be a victim therefore i carry everywhere. Concealed means Concealed.

Yes you can carry in wal mart, bass pro, etc as long as the place is not posted in accordance with the mississippi code on places prohibited for carry. The signs must be readable from a certain distance and if its a new store, i usually drive by the front door before I park to check.
99 percent of the hospitals I have been to are posted, guess thats why I added that one. Dad's a Doctor so its just habit from going to see him.
