This comment reminded me of a drink I used to have in college. A stadium cup (the big maroon ones) filled with crushed ice. Drop off a half of a lemon into it, and fill with Southern Comfort. Sip until unconcious. The next afternoon, send the pledges out for something to take the paint off of your tongue.

All this nastalgia is making me thirsty.

Anyone ever drink the old school stuff, J.W. Dant, Walkers Deluxe, Old Crow, KT. Back when I drank Bourbon with pops the walkers deluxe wasnt too bad. KT with water is ok.

AAAHHHHH! Walker's Deluxe. Reminds me of college. I touted it as the "The Best Really Cheap Bourbon You Could Find"

One time we started drinking like at 10 AM and I finished off the fifth of Walker's Delux from the night before in 2 drinks and grabbed a handle and tried to finish it BEFORE a KD formal. Let's just say it wasn't one of my finer moments...Cops got called because of rifle shots in the neighbor hood, street light was shot out, front yard caught on fire, but they never could figure out the hairspray and potatosacks everywhere. We'll leave it at that, and hope the other person that saw me that posts on here doesn't add to it.

AAAAHHHH! A Salute to finer times Mr. Walker :D

Deltaduck I guess it must be a delta thing with walkers. I had never heard of it until I moved to the G'wood. That was a regular bourbon in the bars.

Good 'ole Jim
Jack Single Barrel
I admit I'm a mixer so it all kind of tastes the same after three of them. I mix them so that if you look at it juuuussssst right you can actually see vapor trails.

I tried some Glennfidich (however you spell it) single malt over ice with a little water. Not to shabby but I don't see myself becoming a Scotch drinker.

I've never met another person that listed J.W. Dant as one of their favorites. It's my favorite by far. I also like 10 Year OC (now that you can't get 12 anymore) and WT 101.
