Nothing better that this one

6-10 robos depending on the conditions, 8 bilge pumpers, 2 quacker smackers, and 2 mallard machines. All is un off a power unit that has each mechanism on a separate timer. Each unit is running at different intervals and turning off and on at different times.

12-15 Spinners, One Secret Weapon, 6 duck butts, and 3 mallard machines.

The secret weapon will be the "thing" for the next 5-7 years.

Surely it's a joke right? A bunch of guys sarcastically talking about putting out a bunch of spinners? There's no way they really run all that junk?

I think there becoming more for our amusement and satisfaction than for the ducks

Is he talking about the spinners or his fellow "duck hunters"?

I am pretty sure that some of these guys are not joking. There is a guy that hunts a couple fields down from us back home that had out at least 15 spinners last year and 2 votex things.

i have not checked that thread but, i have hunted reelfoot lake before and yes ordek they do run that much stuff up there. the blind i hunted with a buddy from up there had at least 5 spinners and 2 mallard machines. they say that is how it has to be done up there in order to kill any birds. i have not seen alot of the other blinds but i have heard some of them look like a circus arena.

With that many spinners, they must have out at least 10 dozen decoys then too...cuz to me that many spinners over two dozen decoys looks funny.
If you have to be crazy to hunt ducks, I do not want to be sane!
