I have mercury tubes installed on my beretta and will still make your nose bleed.

Re: Over and unders 3 1/2
I have a couple of Citori's and none will hold the 3.5's but I also own a SBE that will flip them out and never slow down.
If you need to shoot the 3.5's, get you a good autoloader.
Back in the old days we used to reload our 3" lead loads as heavy as we could pack them. There were 5 of us that either shot the Citori's or the Browning SxS's. I saw a previous post about the reliability of the O/U vs. auto's.
One morning we were hunting and it was one of the coldest days I have ever hunted. Sleeting, windy, just plain nasty. Ducks were flying.
One of the guys would shoot and it sounded like a 300 Weatherby going off. His Citori was shooting both barrells at the same time.
Talk about kicking like a pissed off mule! It was funny as heck to me.

Re: Over and unders 3 1/2
I appreciate all the help I do like the Citori satin hunter on gunbroker.com, they had one that shot 3 1/2 and I really dont need 3 1/2 but I would like to have in case i ever wanted it. I bet it would look really good if you got it dipped. I have a beretta auto loader and I like it for duck hunting now Im just feel like I shoot a lot better with the over and under and it swings alot better for me, but again thanks for all the help.
Re: Over and unders 3 1/2
Wet hands/gloves and a OU...... 3 1/2....gonna hurt......Done that...bought me SBE II ..like shooting a BB gun compared to my OU.
A duck call is one of the best conservation tools ever invented

Look at the Cynergy.. As I said earlier... It has a much better pad on the buttstock.. I had the same issue where I felt I shot better with an O/U

My eyes water when I see one of those little half sticks of dynamite.
If I can't hit him with a 3" he's too far.
I bird hunted with a guy that had a H&K O/U in shadowgrass that was his main duck dumper.

Cynergy and the Citori are on Gunbroker right now. Search "citori modb" (for mossy oak duck blind) and they"ll pop up. The cynergy can be had for a better price at: http://www.cdnninvestments.com/dowournewcat.html
Don't let all the talk scare you. 3 1/2 duck loads aren't that bad. The citori is on average close to 2lbs heavier than the Beretta's and the extra weight really helps.

A good over/under for duck hunting is the Yildiz at Academy Sports for 399. Good gun and at that price you won't fill you gonna destroy it duck hunting with it. I have one in 20 ga and duck hunt with it, does great for me where I hunt.

Re: Over and unders 3 1/2
I shoot a 686 Pro Onyx every day I get to hunt during Duck season which is usually about 30-40 days. Every shell that goes through it is 3 1/2. I have no problem with the recoil. I do have a Very good pad made by Beretta on the gun. My dad who is now 67 has shot it and says it is not nearly as bad as he thought it would be. I would love to try the new Browning Cynergy.

Re: Over and unders 3 1/2
My main gun is a Beretta Onyx Pro 3.5- matte finish and woodextra- only shoot the 3.5s if standing and never in a laydown. Someone actually makes a leather trigger guard to protect the dreaded blue finger.
Re: Over and unders 3 1/2
I just ordered 2 citori 3.5 camo from reeds outdoors for 1299 I think. The last one I bought was around 1600 a few yrs back. It is all I hunt with. They also have the satin hunter for 1098 in 3.5. A bargain in either one.

That is a good price.. The citoris I was looking at a few years ago were priced at 2500 and my cyergy was 1800...

Hey Rusty,
You are supposed to use one finger for both triggers in that situation

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
