I see the pintail is 'most wanted'. We were covered up in them last year. Had more pintails than anything! I remember when they were a more rare bird to kill. (besides last year) Was this not the same for everyone else last year?

Yes, every year around the middle of december we start seeing them in groups. By the start of janurary, they are in dozens and sometimes in hundreds at a time. We take time shooting the drakes 1 by 1 for our limit to try and stretch it out a little. The landowners I lease from said that they have always been good numbers of them on this place. Who knows.
