Big Black River Deer

Postby chopper30 » Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:37 am

I'm posting this for Brad since he's on the road again. Don't know the specifics besides it was killed by a neighboring property owner.

This deer scored 155, 8 pt,and had 27 inch main beams! He's a hoss. I'm pretty sure he was the one of the other bucks I saw the afternoon I killed my buck a few weeks ago. River pushed him out on neighbors property.

Rivers got em pushed out forsure. We had deer in the parking lot of our camp last night and saw several Nice bucks trailing doe's on the side of the road coming home. One was easy 150-160. I had to do a double take.

Another scary thing is the River has all the snakes pushed out and with the warm weather they are functioning pretty good. A neighbor killed 5 in one outing 2 days ago and we saw 3 and killed 2 yesterday. Pretty scary. 5 days before Christmas and its fishing weather.
