Sorry to hear about your hunting partner. I dread the day something happens to mine. Best of luck.

sorry to hear that, the only advice I can give is dont ever get attached to a dog you plan to hunt with but then again its not a dog its part of the family.........just looking for a smile from the memories of what copper used to and may do again for you
Thanks
Bruce

dogs are only as good as their trainers, and trainers are only as good as their dogs

That is one fine looking partner you got. I'm sure you'll do everything you can for him to ensure he has the best chance of getting better. Funny thing about it is that he probably knows that as well and will appreciate you for all the years of companionship in the field and the T.L.C. you give him even if he is not able to continue to go out in the field with you. Best of luck to you both.
Don't be stupid, you idiot.

There is no hunting buddy like your dog. He's always on time and is always happy to be with you. Sorry to hear about your dog. Hard to replace a companion of 8 years. Good luck in your search for a new buddy.

Contact John and Carol Kabbes http://www.blueribbonkennels.com
They have (or had) some pups for sale. I have hunted over some of their pups and they are some good stock.
