who "lost" a Canvasback?
who "lost" a Canvasback?
Yesterday at about 11am. i was heading north on 49W between yazoo city and belzoni. I happened to notice standing on the white line on right side was a pretty drake canvasback. I am pretty sure he had a little help getting there...figured somebody was scared and threw him out. I turned around to go get him and right before I got to him he flew off like there was nothing wrong. I dont know what I was going to do with him but I didnt want that pretty duck to die on the highway because somebody dont know what they are shooting at. If you kill one, bring him out and take your chances. Dont trash 'em. Surely a GW will sympathize with your ignorance.

Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law! Don't believe that will fly with any law enforcement officer. Just my opinion.

But they are so hard to tell apart from the other ducks that look nothing like them.

I was riding down a country road outside of Batesville the other day and somebody had lost two limits. Ducks were all over the road for about a mile. It was a damn shame to see.

Any bands? If so, I lost at least a couple of limits in that general area. If not, i think they are SNOT'S.
