Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

Went there Tuesday in the rain.....didn't even get out of the shop at the ramp and were told by two different people to not go in on Louisiana side....matter of fact, they said don't go in, don't slow down, don't even look at it....LA game wardens aren't putting up with ANY excuses and writing $800+ tickets for trespass for people in LA waters in Chotard.....that equated to one big a** refuge sitting next to the little bit of MS water to hunt in.....long story short, six hours hunting in the rain and all the ducks we saw from the MS side (which was Minimal) went into LA property to not be screwed with......I have hunted Chotard for over 20 years and I won't be going back.....just ain't worth the hassle....

You can hunt the La. side as long as their season is open and you have a Ms. or La. license.

Ya, but it was a nice 20 years wasn't it? I'm sad to see it go, I've got 27 years invested over there.

Know a guy that took home a $700 ticket last Friday only because the sheriff was being nice and not taking him to jail. As for hunting either side with the appropriate license, those days are over.
