Twas up there again today, chillin' around Crowder mostly. Rode that part of the county a little bit looking for a house...Delta looks like a pretty nice school.

I did notice there seemed to be more cotton ground on the west side of the county, at least where 322 goes from Lambert to Walnut. Is this pretty much the case? Looked like the grain ground was on the hills side, the cotton ground was on the west side.

I am going to have to plug Hernando, great town, great schools.
I graduated from there, my mother still works there

I still live there and hunt somewhere around sledge, and it is a pretty far drive.

South Panola is a pretty good school, with a decent football team, but much like a university.
Oxford is a pretty good school too, with a good athletic program.

Tunica is getting better.

I live in Eudora 10 miles east of Hernando and just 20min. from the Tunica cut-off. My daughter went to school at the grade school. Jr high, and High school. Made national Honor Society and got scholarships for Ole Miss, (She takes after her mom). This is a great area both for school and location to hunt fish and to get to Memphis. Not to close but close enough, to enjoy the big city if you want to. Give me a PM if you want more information, I'll look for a local paper for you and send it your way if you want it.
