shotgun paint
i dropped my shotgun in a brake and could not find it for three weeks and when i finally found it i broke it down and cleaned the mud and gunk off of it. in the mean time all the blueing (sp?) came of the metal. i was wondering what kind of paint i could use to paint this gun back black.

Re: shotgun paint
i have painted several and it usually doesnt hold up. i would do a lil more research on having it dipped. once they get wet like that and start to rust it usually doesnt stop just from my experience

Re: shotgun paint
Send it to Duracoat for less than $200 it will be in he camo pattern of your choice. I had my SBE dipped about 5 years ago and it still looks as good as a new one and I've put it through some stuff.
Re: shotgun paint
I just sent my SBE to duracoat in Georgia for dipping. $175.00 plus shipping. Takes a week in house or less. lots of patterns to chose from.
