Rent a plane next time you are at the beach and just look what is 3-400 yards off shore. You will stick to the sand for good.

Website isn't coming up here at the office, but is that the 495 lbs Mako?

I seen something about it on rodnreel.com, but haven't seen a picture of it yet.

Fishing has been amazing out there. In one week a 722 lb mako was caught by some freinds of mine with a charter captain. When they cut him open, there was a 4' black tip in his belly!

Then a week later, they pull up the big Mako, just unbelieveable. Of course on top of all of this the Lump is on fire with big Tuna and wahoo also. Can't wait for tomorrow!

I was looking at some pics on rodnreel.com and it's AMAZING how the reports have changed from 6 months ago. People were struggling to catch YFT, much less the 100-200 lbs YFT that is being hauled in. Lots of Mako pictures on RnR.com too.

God I wish I could be going.

Jeff are these your buddies. 722lbs Mako and 195lbs YFT  :

Yes those are my buddies. They have about 4 hours of the fight with the Mako on Film broken up in pieces, it's pretty cool.

Yes I am going in the morning, conditions should be about perfect. The lump is late this year, normally about Feb1-now are the times to go, with about now being near the end. However this year has been a wild year and who knows when it will end.
