Postby goosebruce » Tue Mar 17, 2009 9:42 am

We've still got openings at all levels. Grenada lake. A chance to run on and see the grounds of the spring 2011 grand. We've assmbled a great judging pool, have fantastic grounds to work with, and expect to put on another terrffic event.

Started judges, Mirinda Dye, Ed Barnes, Josh Downs
Seasoned judges Charles Dwyer, Ed Barnes, Johnny Barlow
Finished judges, Glen Dye, Trey Edwards, Travis Bruce, and Mike Botts (Iowa field rep and member of grand hunt committee).

Saturday afternoon we will have puppy/jr handler stakes,, raffle, food and our usual fun. Get your entries in as fast as possible please so we can make good on our food estimates and not overload Ms. Glenda week of the event! travis

Travis,

Elvis and I will be there. Look forward to seeing you. We ran Pontchartrain last weekend and I thought about your great quote from last year, "Now I know where baby dump trucks come from!!!!!"

By this time next year, when the dump trucks get done, there will be no land at the spillway. Just a 40,000 acre tech pond.

We are gonna try to make it up for SF.

GC, you gotta be there. We have built a special stool for you to stand so that you can actually see Ellie run.

That is really thoughtful! I will bring a box of adult sized "Depends" for the judges in case they get too stimulated and excited watching her run! One good thought deserves another!

Can I borrow it? 8)

BTW, whose idea was it to come up with 5 ft holding blinds??? I know the DOG shouldn't see the marks, but it just aint funny when the judge can't see the handler in the holding blind... <ahem>

:o You didn't just say that. I guess that's what I get for selling tickets to let people watch you run. :D And to keep from completely hi-jacking this thread... while I would dearly love to be at Southern Flight again, I have to stay home to manicure the dog's nails and put pretty bows back in her hair. (kidding--just not ready for seasoned yet...)
