My CPA charges me about $1000 every year but he's doing returns for an S-Corp, LLC, and our personal stuff too. He'll go to bat for me in the event of an audit but he's gonna be charging me that high-azz hourly rate. You guys who think your cpa will defend you in an audit for free are fooling yourselves!

If ya located near jackson area my fiance be glad to help ya and she is a cpa. Depending on if you got a straight w2 etc depends on price.

He will most likely charge for working through an audit.... wouldn't you?
