I agree with TODO, those Clarksdale clubs are 7000-8000 acres if I remember correctly. 27 Break, Black Bayou, Refuge, and all of those are smaller than Catfish and Catfish is right around 10,000 acres. The important thing though is the number of members/acreage. You could have a place like Concordia with 7000-8000 acres and only 10 members.....look at that number of acres per member.....or Catfish that has close to 10,000 acres with 76 members. I think the Conservation league has hundreds of members with around 10,000 acres.
Does Catfish have 76 members or memberships? I personally know a fella in that camp that has multiple memberships in his name.
By the way, I completely agree about acres/members ratio. Furthermore, that is truly astounding that Concordia has that many acres and only 10 members.
