Wiener gets peepee blocked by FBI gettin' a little out of state adult nookie at the Shady Nook. Delta loses yet another doctor. Meanwhile, drug related violent crime is rampant in the MS Delta, including Clarksdale. Great use of tax dollars there federal guys. Woooohoooo. We can all feel safer at night now.

I fall into camp with Gordon, Don, and Bigwater ---that is pretty good company BTW. For the FBI's sake, hopefully there is much more to this prosecutorial action. If not, this will fall into the classic prosecutorial overkill category ----using sledgehammer to kill housefly.

Trust me. If you ever met this guy you wouldn't be taking up for him. He is a weird sumbeech! First time I met this guy I would have sworn he was a queer. The only thing that shocked me about the affidavit I read was that he was soliciting women rather than men. If this guy got busted molesting 3 year olds it wouldn't surprise me one bit. The hospital in Clarksdale is already working on finding a replacement for him. I promise he won't be missed. The FBI are the only people who could get this trashbag off the streets. The local cops and sheriff's department would have turned their backs forever. I agree the FBI has bigger fish to fry but I am not at all sad about seeing this scumbag get arrested.

If being "weird" was a federal crime, then all of us would be in trouble. "Weird", like art and beauty, is often in the eye of the beholder. Just because you think he is weird or creepy does not mean much from a criminal law standpoint. If you have any direct evidence of this man committing crimes (other than paying for adult nookie), then share it with us.

Like I said, it may turn out that he has indeed committed other more serious crimes. But, if not, then the feds are clearly overreaching here on an essentially "victimless" crime.

I agree.

We will all have to wait to find out. I have no evidence of anything additional ONLY hearsay. I also agree that being a scumbag is not a crime. Po monk, you certainly should have more insight on this kind of stuff than many of us. In your experience, does the FBI generally operate in this mode (gross overkill)? Is there any thing to be read into the fact that his hearing date was moved from May 21 to June 2nd?

I tend to agree with the part about overkill. That being said, this guy is a democrat lovin (literally and figuratively), non-swimmer supporter in the first degree. He moved here and decided he was going to help some of the poor opressed down trodden dooby smokers get put into positions of power around here, and he succeeded. I have had some family members have some really bad experiences with his medical advice as well.

Reaping the whirlwind sucks for him.
