Postby tunica du4u » Thu Jan 29, 2004 9:51 am

Or better yet WHERE THE DUCKS WERE
Top pic:
This was taken yesterday on a river north of Kansas City near the Nebraska border has been below 10 degrees for days with 4" of snow on top of the ice. He said this was over 1/2 mile long. Note the birds still in the air.
Bottom pic:
Taken here somewhere. No GPS readings available 8)

Hey Doc, Wattsup. It started out dark & dismal here Saturday morn but about 10 am the sun actually broke thru for about 30 minutes. We had came back to the camp and thought it might clear up since we planned on cooking 200# of mudbugs for lunch. Boy were we fooled. 'Bout 1 pm the bottom fell out. Sunday morn we drove about 5 miles before seeing land. Mudbugs were still GOOD though!!!!!!!!!! 8)

He sent me an email about quail hunting & I told Terry & Allen. The guy who won the quail hunt from Cleveland called the other day and set up dates. Just let me know about a week ahead of time & I;ll see if I can't get it together. Yeah $1.75 # delivered right now but were good size and damn good eating 8)

::::::I think I smell something::::::

BAWAHAHAHAHA

Not saying anything about fact or fiction but what I know is this. Saturday the 24th is the day after Ramsey hunted with me. And Duckhunt 4 came up to hunt. We hunted a WMA that morning (Cloudy and drizzle rain)Had our birds by 10:00 and was out talking with the Game Warden when the bottom fell out. We drove from central Mississippi to MidNight in heavy rain. From MidNight to Cleveland in Heavy rain. From Cleveland to Greenwood in heavy rain and back to camp at dark in heavy rain. Was still raining when we loaded up Sunday morning to hunt Midnight and didn't break up till 9:00am.

What amazes me about the bottom picture is that there is not a cloud in the sky..... ~~~~~~~~ Can you smell it?... :lol: :lol:

Aw the disbelievers. Shucks folks I started not to post that last pic. There ain't no ducks in North Delta Ya'll stay away. 8) I CANNOT vouch for the picture as I did not take it. I was told where it was taken and was just gave to me yesterday. I see what you mean though. Although you must remember where you are. Northwest Mississippi. It will rain 4" and 1/2 mile away dust will be flying. Now the sun did shine Saturday morning about 10 where I was. It started raining at our Dundee camp a little after 1 pm Sat. but quit about 4 am Sunday morning. I know as I was up. I got in blind at 6 am Sunday morning and left about 11 am and it never even sprinkled on us Sunday morning. Old saying about Dundee, "when the good Lord made it rain 40 days and 40 nights, Dundee got 2 tenths. 8)

Tunica, it's clear as day to me! Can't you see the tire tracks in the snow where the DU truck drove down the river spreading corn? Why else would those ducks be in a line like that? :wink:
