Big 8pt
My brother in-law killed this deer opening afternoon, in South-west MS. Shot at 37yds, right thru the heart. Deer ran 40yds and piled up. Deer was estimated to way around 270, and was aged over 8 years old. Green scored 161.

great deer for a great guy. BT, I am going to sit with ya'll one afternoon in december!
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?
Re: Big 8pt
WOW what an 8 pt. Too bad there isn't a few more points, that would be B&C for sure. Awesome it's in velvet too!
Re: Big 8pt

That's a big 8
Re: Big 8pt
Yep... a monster fo sho!!
Re: Big 8pt
WOW, what a deer.. He sure don't look to be 8 years old, or 270lbs.. Maybe that's because he antlers make him look small.. Those bases are unreal.. Nice nice deer..

How do you score a deer in velvet? I bet those skeeters ate his booty up down in that cypress hole.
Your family has been laying waste to the big deer down there. I wish some would make their way to Fayette.
