Huntve

Postby Pittfall » Tue Nov 03, 2009 10:43 pm

Hey guys first post, and have to say I have enjoyed lurking the forum. I have read some of the older posts about electric vehicles. I was wandering if anyone has tested the Huntve gamechanger? I have had two BBB's, and been on the Stealth, and Huntve standard. I am in the market for another one because I can't live without the advantages electric has to offer. I have also had several two wheel drive club cars. I am most impressed with how the huntve is built but don't know much about the battery life or reliability of the machines. I do like that they are american made. They may look like a stealth, but have studied them enough to know that they are much better engineered than the stealth or bbb. Please let me know the good and bad of this machine. My biggest problem is that I can't find alot of info on the Huntve. Battery life is a big priority, and the bbb was acceptable in this category. I just wandered who may be running a huntve, how long have they run it , and in what conditions was it tested. Any info would be appreciated.

Pittfall,

The Huntve battery life would be equal to or better than the BBB battery life. If you've been on an Huntve standard model then the Game Changer will blow your mind. That thing has some serious power.

Where are you located?

I know that BBB is paying a price to have CAVS completly rethink, rebuild, an retool their product, Look for the 2011 model to be bad ass.

The Huntve batt life lasts longer than the BBB we use to have. I have no experience w/ a stealth really

Thanks for the replies guys. The huntve that I tested had some electrical issues. It was timing out in two wheel drive and four wheel drive. It was steadily getting weaker. First day the huntve lasted 1hr 10 min before it quite pulling. The second day it got a little better. I was in no mud, but hilly terrain. I will say that my bad boy would make 3 trips to it's one on the same piece of property. I thought that something must be wrong, and on the third day the huntve finally quite pulling alltogether. Just wandered. I know that it was obviously not 100% but don't know that much about them. I love how it is built. Just wandered if the gamechanger got better battery life than the standard unit.

I have to agree, the silent beast was very impressive. I have not experienced the Huntve but cannot imagine it being better than the SB, plus you will have the experience of meeting BIGWATER and thats an experience itself :!:
