Forecast for Dec 1 is partly cloudy High 51 Low of 29. Supposed to rain a few days before then and get below freezing 3 or 4 times before Dec 1. Could use a little more rain but I dont think the opener will be all that bad. Hope that 15 day forecast is accurate.

i got a 12 day supply of groceries in the shack.... when they run short, i tend to get serious.......... the weather and birds will be here, just give it time.....

I hope that cooler weather gets here soon. Went scouting today and was nearly carried off by some of the biggest skeeters that I've ever seen.

Also ran into a game warden checking up on deer hunters. Told him I appreciated his work...not an easy job if you do it right.

Saw quite a few groups of ducks, mostly small body ducks with a few mallards mixed in (northwest MS).

should be an interesting youth hunt next weekend. never duck hunted in a tank top t-shirt before.
