we used to hunt them in hi school after duck season. never called em in, just lined up half a dozen folks with 7mm's and shot em standing in the field. they think they're safe at 400 yards... somebody gonna hit pay dirt damn near every shot. travis

Cant remeber the brand but i bought one at Bass Pro for around 30 - 40 $. It is a predator call you can tote in your jacket pocket. has a remote good up to 50'. Killed a few fox and one bobcat with it.

A Mini Phantom call from Bass Pro is a pretty good one. It's small and will probably fit in your pocket. It doesn't sound very good if you turn it all the way up though.

You can spend a buttload if you want to, and I have, but there's a Johnny Stewart digital call set up thing with an external speaker for under 200 (iirc) that on a versatility / quality / $ basis is probably the best deal out there; you can buy different little plug-in recordings and use it for coyotes / bobcats, crows, snows during conservation order . . . I *think* its called preymaster or something close.
On a side note, if you aren't hunting in the delta, the remaining 3/4 of the state is generally too thick to have much success unless you have a long clear pasture. They'll circle you to wind you and you'll hear em in the brush, but never see them.

If you've got woods bordering the pasture, I'd suggest getting some sort of little mechanical prey decoy thing and set it up just outside the edge of the woods. I've never seen one in Mississippi run across open pasture to come to a call like they do on the outdoor shows.
