Gadwall2, glad to see this one actually going somewhere after all this time. However, if the hats have the leather strap in the back, I'll have to be out. Those don't agree with my big head, I either buy fitted or the ones with the velcro back, heck even the plastic snaps work better for me. Just my .02 cents. Either way it is a great idea I'd like to see become reality whether I have one or not.

How bout a One size fits all!!! :D or either a small, medium, large, xL that have elastic in them(like the one size fits all). those are just like fitted hats and feel just perfect on the ole head!

I saw where dawg-n-duck had asked if it was possible to get these hats in waxed canvas. Is this a possibility? I want one either way...

I agree. I'm not a big fan of the leather strap in the back. I would rather have fitted or velcro. They just work better I think. Either way I will probably purchase one.

I agree with Tree Dr and dawg-n-ducks. The two ducks and flag would make a great cap!!!!

The new logo would be nice but it will cost us. The image will have to be digitized and the thread count will VERY HIGH with that much detail and colors. That will transfer to being very labor intensive and we all know who will cover that expense. Also, the image you see above will not look anything like that on the caps. The caps will look more "fake" since it will be done with thread.

I actually would like a flying Mallard with MSDUCKS.COM underneath the duck. As far as the hat....the velcro closure is the best for everyone.

Just another opinion.

What did ya'll think of gadwall2's suggestion on page 1? I thought it looked prettty good. That design kinda fits the bill of what you were describing Scott.

Gadwall2's suggestion with the Mallard and business name underneath (see page 1 of the thread) gets my vote as well DuckDeke. I should have clarified that more in my previous post.

as long as it's mossy oak break up! Here's another idea....Can you put up a paypal type link to pay for hats? that way people who aren't able to come can just pay for one.

I've been over at hatworld.com playing around with their customizing option for about 30 min and ended up with a $33 cap......

Everything I added to the cap looked great, just wouldn't show me the cap I chose with the custom graphics and text on the front and back.

so say Kevan finds some hats @ $15 each we could pay $30 for them and then give Micha $15 towards the cost of keeping this wonderful site up :D

and if you go with a hat that is already @ $33 are you willing to pay $48 :?:
Thanks
Bruce

Here's what I did. I started off with a 6 panel low profile stretch fitted cap for $15. The graphics and text for the front and back costs $9 each. The cap I setup was a gray or khaki with MSDUCKS arched across the front of the cap in green stitching, and a greenhead in the back with 22 under it. The green cap I wanted to start with didn't look good, so I chose the khaki/gray cap.
