Season Change Not Looking Good

The Feds have delayed their decision on our duck season until Monday. It seems that all comments were against this change even from LA. The ruling will likely be to keep the season as it is for this year. But I guess we can keep our fingers crossed until Monday.

I just called the MDWFP about the new dates and they told me that they had not heard anything yet. He also told me that Bobby Cleveland would probrably know before him. So I am going to call the Clarion Ledger and find out what Bobby knows!

Season Change Not Looking Good

Just for informational purposes who really cares if we get those earlier 9 days back?

I enjoy hunting as much as the next guy and I am hunting those extra days even if we don't get them back. I hunt Deer, and any other game that is availible during those 9 days. I have been in the swamp every weekend since the first of Oct. and there are so few birds right now that it hardly seems worth all the fuss. Now if you really want them that is fine to I was just interested in how many really care if we get them back or not....

Season Change? There wasn't one. In today's paper, it was made official. The original season, Dec. 1-2, 8-9, 15-Jan.was upheld by the state and feds.
