Zip Up Waders

Postby atovol » Wed Dec 23, 2009 1:12 pm

Anyone have any experiences with them. I checked that Coleman.com site and they have some for a good price but I just do not know. I am concerned with how long that zipper will be "water proof" if at all.

I bought some from the coleman site. They are very nice and have no leaking problems. Peeing is a breeze now :D.

I bought the same pair, and have loved them. I just couldnt pass up the price.

They dont leak...............................yet. Zipper is real heavy, and sure make getting them on and off a breeze.

I went thru two pairs of LaCrosse I think...zipper failed on both over two seasons. I liked 'em but can't trust 'em....also, I got distracted by ducks once while peeing and ten minutes later decided to wade out and pick up some ducks only to discover I hadn't zipped back up. It was 12 degrees that morning and I took about five gallons on....brrrrrrr

I had the Hodgman zip up waders and loved em
for the first season. Next season rolls around and zipper get off track and starts taking in water. Went back to regular waders. Just not worth the risk to me.

Zippers did not last through 1 season. I didn't have the waders for 60 days and hodgman will not repair or replace without the receipt. Who the feck keeps a receipt for 60 days? Needless to say the zipper front waders suck!!!
