Its amazing the results you can see by simple mgt. By letting the bucks get alittle age will turn around your hunting. Instead of every member axing ever 4pt or 6pt that walks by, now they are watching these 1.5 and 2.5 yr old bucks. It makes for a better hunt seeing and watching deer than blasting everything that moves! Thats awsome yall are seeing the results of this!

one the two dead I would say 2.5 and 3.5

Rankin Simpson and Scott counties have potential to grow brusiers however some of our trigger happy neighbors dont have to self restraint to let them walk. I have personally seen a 170 come out of a neighborhood in Brandon and there was one bigger than him on camera

True.. But I don't think we have the soil type to get to the Delta sized deer.. But I think you will see more 130-140 class bucks coming out of that area..

Yeah but our deer have good genetics too just get them the right nutrients and watch! Our biggest problem is buck hunters not deer hunters if its legal they will shooy it. Don't sell this county short they have great posibilies

cwink that is a great deer that you posted. I would have guessed that deer scored higher than 140. What are the beam lengths and tine lengths. I only hunt in the Delta and inside the levee at Greenville, and I guarantee anybody in the delta would be proud of that deer.

23-24" main beams.. He had good mass on him to, 4 7/8" bases. I don't recall the tine lengths but I think the measurement is a little conservative. I think he is gonna take him into the Mag records program so we should get an official score on him later.. I think he will be closer to 150..
