Do me a favor and take your back cover off wnd check the indicator and see if it shows you have water damage. I bet it does, everyone that i have looked at shows water damage. Cellsouth says the humidity can cause it.

It turns Red if moisture is present.


With as much humidity as we have in the south, it changes just from the humidity. My wife had a Samsung phone that had that indicator and it changed Red a week or so after she started using it.

Not sure what color this one is supposed to be, all other phones i have had are green and go red when they get wet. So if yours is red and you have a problem with it be prepared for them to tell you it is water damage and they cant help you. By the way the insurance deductible for this phone is $150, which is more than i paid for the thing.

If its red you can hang up getting it fixed doesnt matter if you have spilled water on it or not. They will not warranty any part of the phone. Or at least at&t want.

Mine and .my fiances both are red we have had them just over a month, everyone she works with that has them are red also. I think everyone should complain about this and maybe they wont screw everyone over.
