1st banded duck!

Shot this bluebill on tuesday over some catfish ponds. Was banded March 24, 2008 in Illinois pretty good luck being my 2nd season of duck hunting....not resulting in too many ducks!

I heard that! appreciate it just trying my best to get some ducks to hit the water for my pup. He still thinks I shoot to scare them off or just go sit over water for the scenery!

Hey you didnt do your part of getting it on film so i dont want to hear it! next year you will shoot the duck i call and it will be banded...thats my luck haha

haha well if i had known that on the way out that the duck with the jewelry would have flown by i would have been filmin ur goofy booty walkin haha and then i would have gotten it and i did get MY dog retrievin him on film so technically its mine cuz without my dog....u would still be jewelryless

I knew someone who went on their first duck hunt and shot a drake mallard that was banded. The first shot they had ever made at a duck. It had to be explained to him what it was.
