back to the original question. I have one and have shot the absolute living you know what out of it since they introduced the gun. the gun has been in the roughest conditions and has failed rarely (and only as a result of my laziness). The gun must be completely stripped cleaned often as with any auto.

I have a browning gold and have used it the past two seasons. It is my favorite gun but you do have to clean it alot to keep it from jamming up. Another problem I have had with it the finish peeling off. Its like there is a layer of paint or something on the gun that is peeling off. I guess its been underwater one too many times but does anyone know what im talking about?

Hmmm. Mine is from the second year they were made, and stayed under salt water a couple days in Katrina, and it has not peeled. Is yours one of the "dura touch" finished guns? If so, some solvents will make that finish bubble, etc.
