state 72 vandy 69... undefeated on the road ... road warriors........... go state go state.... coach stans said tonight that in all his years of coaching that this was the first time he can ever remember there being state fans in nashville... aroung 1000 or so. hell i'm goin to bama anexzt weekend...

Awww, let the bigun get it out of his system...

All those emotions pent up from the last few years of lackluster athletics are all rushing out in a flood of emotion for the re-energized State fan. I'm glad too...holding it in isn't healthy. :wink:

I can't wait to see how he acts when (if) they take the SEC Tourney...or get to the FINAL FOUR!

you are right mag. that is exactly how i feel. especially after the last three years of football. we were bad and not only bad but not even competitive i sometimes thought we were throwing games to the bookies it was so bad.

but this is different. special to say the least...

Maybe I should have used the term "horrible" or "very,very bad" in place of lackluster. Even compared to our last few seasons State's have been, at best, lackluster.

It's all good though. Can't you feel the love? I mean, me...a Rebel fan (and Student) supporting the "other" state school amid all this resistance from the other side. Can't a brothah give some props to his rival without all this static?

I sure wish I could scarf down some wangs with yall on Thursday...but a 2 hour drive and a Finance test on Friday morning are unfortunately standing in the way.

Finance = concepts dealing with money (e.g. bonds, stocks, cash flows, etc)
Fiancee = woman to be married (e.g. hot mama, almost bride, "better half")
